1. diminishing the impact over the environment generated by placing on market TOPEX equipment, preventing the pollution since the project phase

2. diminishing the impact over the environment generated by TOPEX activity by an efficient recycling management.

Declarations and Certificates

The European Union (EU) has released a group of directives to minimize danger for humans caused by commonly available electronic equipment. TOPEX is concerned about the quality of the environment and therefore is strongly committed to manufacture electronic equipment according to the European directives such as RoHS (2002/95/EC) and WEEE (2002/96/EC) and conforming to the corresponding national laws and regulations (HG 992/25 of August 2005 modified and completed; by HG 816 07/07/2006 and O. 1771 from 12/09/2007, HG 448/19 of May 2005).

Information

Dear collaborators,

Topex dedicated itself to minimizing the impact of its products over the environment. TOPEX intends to follow the active legislation which brings under regulation this issue in Romania and in the European Union. The WEEE directive for recycling the electrical and electronic equipment  addresses the manufacturers and distributors of electronic equipment and has as purpose the reduction of waste resulted from such equipment.

Topex states that its equipment is conforming to the European directive WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)  2002/96/EC, and its equivalent in Romania: H.G. 448/2005.

In conformity with the directive mentioned above, TOPEX registered itself to the National Environment Protection Agency on the 19th of July, 2009 with the registration number RO-2009-06-EEE-0350-II, which allows marketing electrical and electronic equipment, according to the article no 12, paragraph 3, H.G. 448/2005.

This number is mentioned in the certificate of warranty and in the manual of each TOPEX product and has to be communicated to the end user.

TOPEX equipment is marked according to the requests of the WEEE 2002/96//EC directive  regarding recycling.

All TOPEX actions concerning the directives RoHS 2002/95/EC and WEEE 2002/96/EC will be communicated.
