TOPEX was sponsor at the 3rd edition of Mobile Communications Awards.
The agenda of the event focused on the "Romanian Telecom Industry in the framework of the European Union".
The telecom event took place at Hilton, on December the 7th and brought together companies like: Romtelecom, Vodafone, Zapp, Orange, Cosmote, Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Siemens, Oracle, HP, IBM, Siveco and Romanian institutions: Communications and Information Technology Ministry, General Inspectorate for Communications and Information Technology.

In the second day of the convention, TOPEX presented: "TOPEX solution for Voice services in NGN".
Within this presentation, Mr. Radu Balaci, Product Manager TOPEX, explained the advantages offered by TOPEX multiSWITCH.
Among the subjects presented: NGN -fundamental aspects, convergent networks, Triple Play services (Voice, Video, Data).
TOPEX's presence at this event was part of the project initiated in September, project that aims the popularization of the NGN concept and of the advantages offered by this new technology.

TOPEX exhibited at the international fair of information technologies, SIMO 2006. The exhibition was held in Madrid between 7th and 12th November 2006.
TOPEX team was present at this fair - booth 7A145, Hall 7, presenting the entire range of products.
SIMO is the second most important ICT fair in Europe and this year gathered a total of 626 exhibitors presenting a comprehensive overview of the technological advances.

During this event, TOPEX team started the negotiations with several potential partners on this market.
Two of the companies exhibiting at GSM 3 G South Africa expressed their intention to become distributors on the South African market.
SMAU MILANO - October 4-8, 2006

Following the growth and development on the Italian market, TOPEX participated for the second time at the technological trade fair SMAU Milano 2006. 
TOPEX presented its entire range of products, together with its Italian partners, BZSolutions and VConnect, in the new exhibition center, Fiera Milano- Rho Pero.
BZSolutions distributes TOPEX Next Generation Network solutions on the Italian market: Softswitch, Media Gateways for TDM, VoIP, GSM and CDMA (2G, 3G), Signaling Gateways (SS7, ISDN, R2, SIP, H323).
VConnect sells on the Italian market fixed-mobile terminals (2G, 3G) created by TOPEX.
TOPEX specialists were present at SMAU - booth G-20, Hall 12- in order to exhibit the entire range of products, as well as the novelties for the Italian market:

Moving to the Next Generation Network- September 22, 2006

The event held by TOPEX on Friday, September 22, 2006 is part of a much ampler TOPEX project focused on the popularization of the NGN concept and on its turning into a much more accessible notion. 
The seminar discussed NGN solutions and applications, thus intending to make as many Romanian companies as possible to benefit on NGN due to this project.
The event put together representatives of renowned Romanian companies on the Romanian market such as: SteamWide, Euroweb, Allied Telesyn, Romavia, Atlas Telecom, CG&GC Intelligent Technology, Datanet Systems SRL, Datek Telecom SA, ICCO Electronics, Marac Romania, Beia, Radiocom etc.
Among approached topics: NGN notions, switching from classical networks to NGN, Interactive NGN Services, IPTV & VoD for Triple Play. Also, Q&A sessions were held at the end of the presentations due to which the participants had the opportunity to get answers from specialists, exemplified with demonstrations.
StreamWide also had panel presentations - "NGN Interactive Services" and Euroweb gave examples related to the integration of TOPEX equipments in the Eurovoice services platform, together with TOPEX.
TOPEX has presented the Next Generation Network project - Voice Network for the next generation. The NGN TOPEX solutions are based on the TOPEX multiswitch (softswitch) equipment together with the TOPEX Media Gateway family. These allow you to offer more services and develop new income sources (interconnection, extra services). With our NGN solutions, you are offered the possibility to achieve this development in a cost effective manner.
Media partners for this event were "Comunicažii Mobile" and RadioLinx.
The Topex project will also continue next year as the obvious interest of the guests in the topics presented on September 22 have strengthened Topex' conviction that it is necessary that they should support the companies that can benefit on NGN advantages.
