Position Overview Statement
We are looking for an experienced Quality Director to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary quality requirements according with company standards.
The Quality Director will implement quality measures for final deliverables (HW, SW and documentation) to make sure they have been built with compliance to legal, industrial and quality standards and meet customer expectations. He/she must fully understand the requirements for the products or services and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the competition.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
- Monitoring specifications for products or processes
- Setting quality requirements for raw material, components, intermediate and Third party products for suppliers and monitoring their compliance
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
- Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
- Monitoring final output and compare properties to requirements
- Define KPI for approval of products or reject defectives
- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
- Ensures to get feedback from customers regularly to assess whether their requirements are met
- Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
- Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement, taking measures to counter and avoid risks and develop new efficient procedures
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or similar;
- Proven experience as quality manager (minimum 3 years)
- Management experience in an international company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Conscientious and responsible
- A keen eye for details and a result driven approach
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal, industrial and quality standards
- Results and deadline oriented
- Very good English skills
