Position Overview Statement
- Working closely with production in our plant from Voluntari, Ilfov
- Report all relevant safety related issues to Management and H&S Manager;
- Promote safety orientated behavior in the work environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that the working practices are safe and comply with legislation, keep up to date with changes in Health & Safety legislation and standards;
- Obtain and update the followings authorizations and agreements related to environment:
- Environmental authorization for production facility;
- Wastewater Takeover Agreement for production facility;
- Electronic Electric Equipment producer registration for the company.
- Ensure all employees are aware of their responsibility for Health & Safety at the workplace;
- Lead in-house training with managers, employees, visitors about Health & Safety issues and risks, for environmental aspects and waste management;
- Record H&S incidents and accidents, monitor environmental indicators (KPIs) and report KPIs to managers;
- Keep up to date with new legislation and with relevant changes in environmental legislation and initiatives including international legislation (RoHS, WEEE, etc.) where applicable;
- Ensure protection or work equipment for H&S identified risks and first aid for the company;
- Manage and organize the safe disposal of hazardous substances;
- Issue and communicate the statistics asked by Romanian Institute of statistics regarding costs for environment, waste management, etc. for the company;
- Report the internal EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment) sales;
- Issue the impact analysis to identify environmental aspects for the all activities, risks identification and measures;
- Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases;
- Propose / implement improvement actions for H&S and environment;
- Consulting employees to identify H&S issues, works matters;
- Initiate and participate in operational controls in company, carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented;
- Issue specific documents related to H&S, environment and waste management (plans, instructions, reports, etc.);
- Manage the Waste recycle agreements: following terms, availability, etc;
- Issue Packaging reports every month;
- Manage waste accounts in accordance with Government Decision 856 / Waste register-traceability of the waste;
- Update waste list and send to whom it may concern;
- Update hazardous substances list;
- Participate in internal / external audit;
Requirements
- University higher education;
- The candidate must have training course for 211 law (specialized training in waste management) and a course for H&S inspector;
- The candidate should have training course for ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 and certificates for courses;
- The candidate must have good knowledge about H&S general risks and their prevention as well as environmental risks and regulations;
- Generally, at least 1-3 years of experience
