Job Positioning
The selected candidate will be part of Rohde & Schwarz Topex sales team, responsible for worldwide sales of Voice Communication Systems for Air Traffic Control and other Mission Critical applications, according to the company’s defined strategy and targets.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing customer requirements, define work packages for support departments, coordinating the preparation of technical and commercial proposals;
- Proposing adequate technical solutions to meet customer requirements in the most cost effective manner;
- Preparing and holding customer presentations, maintaining customer relationship;
- Promoting the existing portfolio of system solutions;
- Assessing and analyzing market potential based on different customer target groups, regions, technologies; proposing appropriate sales strategies;
- Regular reporting based on company’s defined criteria;
- Identifying new customers and market segments.
Requirements
- Degree in telecommunication engineering or similar discipline with a very good understanding of IP-based communication systems;
- Proven professional experience in complex project sales, preferably for mission critical infrastructures;
- Very good communication skills and confident customer management competences;
- Organized personality, paying attention to details and capable to meet deadlines;
- Availability to travel internationally;
- English proficiency in both technical and commercial grades;
- Understanding of an additional foreign language represents an advantage.
