Position Overview Statement
Working closely with Project Management, Research and Development, Production, Sales and Product Management on product design and requirements;
Testing products to establish functionality and effectiveness;
Perform and assist at product trainings, evaluations, configurations and installations (internal and with customers);
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide system design and solutions based on customer requirements;
- Network configuration and design based on customer requirements;
- Configure and test the system before delivery;
- Analyze and understand customer requirements and create test scenarios;
- Create Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests documents, manage and execute tests and create reports;
- Perform on-site system software configuration;
- Perform local and on site trainings with customers;
- Identify and report issues and eventual improvements to the R&D department;
- Remote support for installed systems;
- Follow up customer technical requirements and feedback;
- Perform Site survey activities and create reports about it
- Travel 25% of the working time
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or similar;
- Good knowledge in computer communications, LAN/WAN, core protocols (TCP/IP, Layer 2&3, network protocols);
- Good knowledge in Linux OS (installation, configuration, processes);
- Experience on debugging Linux software issues based on logs;
- Basic scripting experience (bash, perl);
- Experience with VoIP Telephony (SIP, RTP);
- Basic experience with databases (Postgresql or MySQL);
- Basic Cisco configuration knowledge;
